Film Kids Giant Squids

23: A Rolodex of Suspicious Men

Episode Summary

When Harry Met Sally... and Always Be My Maybe: Men and Women can never be "just friends", especially when there's explicit romantic tension from the onset.

Episode Notes

127 Hours with a Film Kid: Brooke is too excited to give Lindsey the illusion of a choice as we break down the Cannes Film Festival lineup, Quentin Tarantino's potential early retirement, the ever-increasing cast of Knives Out 2, and Space Jam 2.

When Harry Met Sally...:  We get wildly off track this episode and somehow find it relevant to discuss what to feed ducks (and the jokes/songs surrounding such controversial topics), the perils of dating within the friend group, and the fictitious New York in which New Year's Eve is quiet.

Always Be My Maybe: Brooke and Lindsey detail their love of Keanu Reeves, both in this film and in general before reaffirming that Dave Franco's take from over a year ago on modern romcoms was bad. Plus, we question the seemingly nonexistent rules of "apocalyptic truth or dare".
